The Wheel of Time is an epic fantasy series written by Robert Jordan. The series of novels was finished by Brandon Sanderson after Jordan's 2007 death. (See Wikipedia to learn more.) A much-anticipated TV series based on the books premiered on Amazon Prime in 2021. Season 2 will be released September 1, 2023.

Robert Jordan's books inspired many online roleplaying sites where fans created characters and wrote collaborative fanfic. For a few years starting in 2001, this website (aessedai.net) was used to provide free email addresses and URL redirects for "Aes Sedai from all over the Web." At its peak, it had approximately 500 members. It was not affiliated with any particular Wheel of Time roleplaying website, but the following Towers were represented here:
